Only Organization Administrators and Class Administrators can unlock a student account.

If a student makes 10 unsuccessful login attempts, their account will be locked. To unlock their account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to ‘My Organization’.
  2. Click the ‘Students’ tab.
  3. Remove the ‘Active students’ filter to show only locked students.
  4. Select the checkboxes by the students you would like to unlock.
  5. Click ‘Unlock this account’.

A student’s account may occasionally be locked but not have the option to unlock it. In these cases, try changing their password following the steps found here: Resetting student passwords.
