Once students have submitted a quiz, the score will be recorded and will contribute to their Automatic progression data. They will not be able to retake this quiz, but can check their score and answers by clicking ‘Take the quiz’.

There are two ways for quizzes to reset so that they can be taken again:

  1. By navigating to Reporting > Class report as a teacher, selecting the student(s), and clicking ‘Restart level’. This will reset everything, including the days at level and any passed quizzes.
  2. If the student completes all of the quizzes in the level and has not passed enough to move up, the failed quizzes will be reset for a second attempt. The passed quizzes will remain and not need to be retaken.

Once students have submitted a quiz, the score will be recorded and will contribute to their Automatic progression data.

The quiz will then be ‘locked’ and any further attempts at the quiz by the student will not be reported or contribute to automatic progress. However, in the event that a student runs out of books at a given Oxford Reading Level without having met move-up thresholds, quizzes will be reset for a second attempt.

Teachers are also able to ‘unlock’ books and quizzes should they want a student to spend more time at a particular Oxford Reading Level.
