Only Organization Administrators and Class Administrators can unlock a student account.

If a student makes 10 unsuccessful login attempts, their account will be locked. To unlock their account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to My Organization.
  2. Click the Students tab.
  3. Check the tick box next to the name of the student whose account has been locked.
  4. Click Unlock this account at the bottom of the screen.

A student’s account may occasionally be locked but not have the option to unlock it. In these cases, try changing their password following the steps found here: Resetting student passwords.
