Students earn badges for demonstrating good reading behaviours, such as doing well in a quiz, listening to Oxford Reading Buddy and showing reading stamina or enthusiasm.
Students will see what badges they can earn and how many they have in their personalised ‘Badges’ screen. Teachers can also view students’ badges in the Attainment section of each student’s individual report.
The following badges are available:
Skill Superstar (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for scoring 100% in a quiz
Attention Ace (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for scoring 100% in the Buddy Questions
1st Quiz (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for completing 1 quiz
5th Quiz (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for completing 5 quizzes
10th Quiz (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for completing 10 quizzes
15th Quiz (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for completing 15 quizzes
20th Quiz (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for completing 20 quizzes
Non-fiction Ninja (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for reading a non-fiction book
Listening Legend (Oxford Reading Levels 1-20) for clicking on all Buddy Prompts
Book Boss (Oxford Reading Levels 1-12) for reading 3 books in 1 week at Oxford Reading Levels 1-6, and 2 books in 1 week for Oxford Reading Levels 7-12
Stamina Star (Oxford Reading Levels 10-20) for reading for a long time
Regular Rockstar (Oxford Reading Levels 1-12) for reading regularly over the course of a week
