Quizzes are automatically marked and results are captured within the Reporting area.

Diagnostic information shows performance against each of the five key Comprehension Skills and can be viewed in the Student Report: Overview: Progress section. Marks for individual quizzes will be available in the Reporting area: Student report: Record of reading (coming soon).

The number of questions per quiz increases with the level. Each question is worth a total of two marks and results are shown as percentages.

From Oxford Level 14 onwards, open-ended, free-text questions are included to give students practice in constructing their own answers. This is the only question type which is not automatically marked and therefore does not contribute to automatic progress. However, you will be able to view free-text answers within the Reporting area: Student report: Record of reading (coming soon).

Once a quiz has been submitted the first score is ‘locked’ and cannot be overridden unless the student runs out of books or retakes the level.
