There are comprehension quizzes in every eBook in Oxford Reading Buddy. The purpose of the quizzes is to assess how well students have understood their reading and to monitor the development of their comprehension skills. Quiz scores also determine progress through Oxford Levels.
Quizzes have been expertly constructed by experienced educators and authors to probe students’ understanding in depth. Each quiz question focuses on one of five key Comprehension Skills.
The challenge level of the quiz is appropriate to the Oxford Level of the book. The quizzes employ a variety of different question types including multiple choice, sequencing of text or pictures, sorting into the correct category, completing the sentences, matching pairs, and so on, as appropriate to the skills being assessed and the relevant Oxford Level.
